The first winter snowstorm of 2020 has passed, and there shouldn’t be any more precipitation coming as the storm continues to move east.
The weather today will have a high of 38 and a low of 24, with partly sunny skies. The winds have also died down, with a breezy 4-5 mph being the top out for the day.
All of these conditions point to one perfect activity today: sledding! The foothills received several more inches than the valley floor, and it is powdery and perfect for the time old tradition of hurling yourself down a frozen slope on a flimsy piece of plastic or wood.
Top off the day with a nice cup of hot cocoa and some soup or chili and it’s shaping up to a perfect snowy winter day.
