A 38-year-old Washoe Valley man was arrested early Tuesday in the area of Combs Canyon Road and College Drive for two contempt of court warrants, driving on a suspended registration and driving with a suspended license.
According to the arrest report, a deputy on patrol did a registration check on an older model Jeep traveling southbound on Combs Canyon Road just after 5 a.m. The registration came back as suspended and the deputy did a traffic stop.
The man was unable to provide a driver’s license, registration certificate or vehicle insurance. A records check showed he had two confirmed misdemeanor warrants out of Carson City Township Justice Court. Bail: $2,484.

— A 24-year-old Carson City man was booked into Carson City Jail on Monday, 4 p.m. for a misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence warrant issued Aug. 22, 2016 out of Carson City Justice Court. According to the arrest report, the man turned himself into jail officers on the outstanding warrant. Bail: $3,000.
— A 58-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday, 5:29 p.m. on a misdemeanor violation of suspended sentence warrant and not stopping at a stop sign. According to the arrest report, the deputy observed a white Toyota fail to stop at a posted stop sign while traveling south on Airport Road. The deputy made a traffic stop and explained the reason for the stop. The driver said he was looking for a street and did not see the sign. A dispatch check for warrants returned showing a warrant with $1,000 cash only bail. Bail: $1,112.
