Friday, October 27th and Saturday, October 28th, 2023 starting at 6:00 PM.

The Gold Hill Hotel, as seen on Ghost Adventures and proclaimed the 8th most haunted location in Nevada, continues to offer Historical Ghost Tours in 2023, with a tour set for this Thursday, Sept. 28.

Spirited Investigations is hosting a unique paranormal and historic experience with a BBQ cook-out and paranormal investigation at the iconic Sutro Tunnel and the surrounding ghost town in Dayton.

Comstock Paranormal Summit: Nothing like this has ever been presented in Virginia City.

Hosted by Northern Nevada Ghost Hunters, and Thin Veil Investigators, for the Comstock Foundation, the Summit is a “Meeting Of The Minds,” where it will be learned how Spirit Investigative teams can work together for the good of the paranormal cause.

St. Mary's Art Center hosts the fall art reception, showcasing the new fall exhibitions by Paula Saponaro and Pura Vida Sierras Art. This free event celebrates intriguing, powerful work that is relevant and thought-provoking.

Heading into the final weekend of October, Halloween and Nevada Day events will keep revelers busy through Sunday making for a jam packed weekend of fun for families and grownups around the Carson City region.

Halloween will be celebrated this week at one of the most haunted destinations in the country, Virginia City, where the Wild West and ghosts of the past are part of the Comstock's legendary folklore.

The only thing that rivals the tales of our Virginia City, Nevada mining past is our connection with ghostly spirits. Recognized as one of the most haunted destinations in the U.S., our supernatural residents become a bit more active during Hauntober, aka, October.

Heading into the weekend, there’s a bevy of activities around the Carson City region. Franktown Apples in Washoe Valley is hosting apple picking Friday through Sunday. In celebration of National Public Lands Day, Nevada State Parks will have a fee-free day on Saturday filled with hikes and tours. Mormon Station State Historic Park is offering a number of exciting interpretive programs this September. Join park staff in the heart of the Genoa National Historic District for history talks, guided walks, and other fun activities!

For the 27th year, the spookiest historical tour of the capital city is returning this Saturday, June 1 with the Carson City Ghost Walk.

The Carson City Ghost Walk is a seasonal historical tour of Carson City’s west side, a walking history lesson with a touch of the supernatural.
