For many there will be a major void in their social calendars to fill on Nevada Day without the annual parade to attend.
Boys and Girls Clubs in Carson City unveil Mike Frezzo Tech Center
Submitted by editor on Wed, 02/01/2017 - 4:46pmThe Frezzo family of Washoe Valley honored their son and brother Mike, who passed away from esophageal cancer in 2014, by presenting a naming gift to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Nevada to establish the Mike Frezzo Tech Center for Club members ages 5 to 12.
Katie Leao, chief professional officer for the Club, said the Club’s tech lab had not been updated for over 8 years. The gift includes new furniture and 30 new Chromebook laptops, similar to those used by the Carson City School District.
Carson City celebrates National Boys and Girls Club Week with salute to heroes

The Club is located at 1870 Russell Way in Carson City.
Carson Station collects cash in July to Benefit Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Nevada

This means for the entire month of July, General Manager Bruce Jabbour and his staff and their customers will be collecting money for a donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Western Nevada.
