The Union — a partnership of Reno-based investors — is scheduled to open this summer at 302 North Carson Street, site of the old Lake Tahoe Brewing Company, which closed in January 2016 ahead of its owner Michael Candelario's arrest on fraud charges.

Douglas Sheriff's Office: Pair argue, one pushed from vehicle and both decline to press charges
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Tue, 02/07/2017 - 10:54amUPDATE 3:13PM: The incident, initially reported to dispatch as a “carjacking” involved two people who recently met and decided to go to Reno together, said Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Bernadette Smith. They got into an argument at the top of Spooner on Highway 50. One was pushed out of the vehicle, got tangled up in the car and received road rash. The other was stopped in Carson City and detained. The person pushed out of the vehicle refused medical treatment. Neither wished to file charges against either other.

The show opens Saturday February 4, (1–6 pm) for the monthly Carson City wine walk. A special reception will be held the evening of Wednesday, February 8 (4–8 pm) to welcome the Nevada legislators to the 2017 session.
