Central Lyon County Fire and Lyon County Sheriff's Office deputies responded Wednesday evening to reported brush fires near Dayton State Park.

Carson City Health and Human Services is reporting Wednesday, June 17 that there are two new positive cases and four additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad County region. This brings the total number of cases to 266, with 195 recoveries and seven deaths, 66 cases remain active.
