Care Flight called after injury accident reported at Stewart and Adams
UPDATE 7:03PM: The female driver of a Pontiac Sunfire was flown by Care Flight tonight after an accident at Stewart and Adams streets. An adult female occupant was taken by ambulance to the hospital. Two small children inside the car were not injured, according to a Carson City sheriff's deputy.
Care Flight landed at the Carson City Senior Center. The accident was a t-bone collision where the driver of an older model red Mustang collided with the vehicle as it was pulling from the stop sign into the intersection, officers said.

An injury accident tonight involving two vehicles. The accident was reported shortly after 6 p.m. in the area of Adams and Stewart Street. A Care Flight air ambulance has been called to the scene.
Traffic is blocked at Long Street, according to arriving officers on the scene. The accident may require extrication.
All southbound traffic is being blocked at Long and Stewart and at Park streets.
One other accident was reported at around the same time at Airport Road and Highway 50. It was a non-jury accident. Another call, thought to be an accident on Saliman and William Street, turned out to be a stalled vehicle in the intersection.
