Pilot unhurt after Cessna airplane flips during landing at Carson City Airport
UPDATE: The aircraft that landed and flipped early Sunday afternoon at the Carson City Airport was a single-engine Cessna 185. The pilot was not injured, said Carson City Fire Department Battalion Chief Eric Bero.
"There were no flames, no fuel leaks and all the safety systems did their job," said Bero. The incident was report to Carson City dispatch at around 12:05 p.m.

A pilot walked away unhurt Sunday after his aircraft flipped during landing on the Carson City Airport runway. The accident happened shortly after noon.
According to Carson City fire and rescue responders, the man piloting the aircraft didn't require medical attention. Dispatch received a call from the airport at 12:05 p.m. regarding the plane that flipped. There were no flames or fire reported.
