Travel Channel highlights Nevada wild horse roundups in Sunday night program
Carson Now reader Margie Quirk passed a Facebook message along to us tonight. In the photo is Studley as a young colt. He is the horse who began the controversy with all the horses rounded up in the Deer Run area of Carson City this winter and spring 2013.
The feisty youngster, fortunately, is safe now in Colorado. If you get the Travel Channel, tune in Sunday night, 10 p.m. PST. The network will be airing a segment covering wild horse round ups in Nevada.
The show is called America Declassified. Some areas have it on at 7 p.m. It will appear as part of a segment that also features the elusive highjacker D.B. Cooper.
"This show will let you wild horse lovers see why we fight so hard," said Quirk in her Facebook post.
