Local churches unite for worship event tonight in Carson City
Several local churches will be uniting together tonight to worship and pray for Carson City. The event, called "Engage" begins at 7 p.m. tonight, Friday, August 29, at the Carson City Community Center.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and several local ministries will be on hand to share the work that is being done in our community. This is the third Engage event in Carson City and momentum has continued to grow with each event.
Under the leadership of Pastor James Parker of Freedom Church six local churches are coming together under one vision: Revival. Well of Worship, Silver Hills Community Church, Freedom Church, The Salvation Army, Good Shepherd Wesleyan and Capital Christian Center are all officially part of the event, however Engage continues to draw from many more of the local churches.
Are you lost? Are you spiritually thirsty? Are you hungry for truth and desperate for the word of God? Do you want to see your city transformed? Bring your friends, encounter God, open to the whole community. Come and worship!
The Carson City Community Center is located at 851 East William Street.
For more information about the Engage event, please contact Lt. Mark Cyr at (775) 887-9120.
