Crime Log: Carson City man arrested on Oakland murder warrant

Carson City sheriff's deputies arrested Donald Tremayne Britton, 38, a Carson City man, at 9 p.m. Wednesday. Britton was arrested on a fugitive from justice (murder) warrant in his name and extradited to Oakland by the Oakland Police Department Thursday. There is no bail.

Officers have also arrested the following individuals based on misdemeanor allegations:

  • A 28-year-old Carson City woman for a contempt of court warrant in her name.
  • A 51-year-old Carson City woman for a petit larceny warrant in her name.
  • A 34-year-old transient man for no insurance, no registration, driving on a suspended/revoked license, and a failure to appear traffic warrant in his name.
  • A 47-year-old Dayton man for a contempt of court warrant in his name.
  • A 19-year-old Carson City man for simple battery and battery that constitutes domestic violence.
  • A 36-year-old Minden man for first-offense DUI, suspended registration, and driving without a valid license.
  • A 37-year-old Carson City man for probation violation.
  • An 18-year-old Carson City man for possession of graffiti paraphernalia, obstructing, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
  • A 74-year-old transient woman for no valid drivers' license, unregistered vehicle, no proof of insurance, and a failure to appear traffic warrant in her name.
  • A 34-year-old Carson City woman for possession of drug paraphernalia and first-offense DUI.
  • A 61-year-old Carson City woman for a failure to appear traffic warrant in her name.
  • A 30-year-old Carson City man for domestic battery.
  • A 32-year-old Carson City man for a failure to appear traffic warrant in his name.
  • A 24-year-old Carson City man for a failure to appear traffic warrant in his name.
  • An 18-year-old Carson City man for contempt of court.
  • A 47-year-old Carson City man for possession of drug paraphernalia and ex-felon failure to register.
  • A 52-year-old Carson City man for first-offense DUI.
  • A 24-year-old Carson City man for domestic battery.
  • A 77-year-old Carson City man for violation of a temporary restraining order.
  • A 54-year-old Carson City man for a contempt of court warrant in his name.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
