Carson City arrests: Man jailed for residential burglaries on North Division Street
A male transient was arrested Tuesday for suspicion of two counts residential burglary, a Carson City sheriff's report said.
Keith Filiault was taken into custody at 7:20 a.m. in the 1400 block of North Carson Street. According to the booking report, Carson City Sheriff's Office deputies had taken two separate residential burglary reports during different shifts and were actively searching for the suspect.
The incidents were reported at two residences on North Division Street. Among the items reported stolen in one residential burglary included two tablets, a Specialized bicycle valued at $2,000, four pairs of motorcycle gloves, a work light and water bong, the arrest report states.
In a separate incident the suspect was seen in a video attempting to burglarize a second home on North Division. The man in the video was seen arriving at the residence on the stolen bicycle and then attempting to gain entry through the front door. He was unable to gain entry. Fingerprints were lifted from the door knob the suspect had attempted to use, the report states.
Filiault was located in the 1400 block of North Carson Street and arrested for suspicion of two counts residential burglary. The stolen items were recovered and returned to the victim. Bail: $20,000.

— A 62-year-old transient was arrested Wednesday, 12:56 p.m. in the 2200 block of East William Street for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued July 10, 2019 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $500.
— A transient was arrested Wednesday at a laundromat at Carson and Winnie streets for two misdemeanor failure to appear traffic court warrants and a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant. Bail: $1,061.
