Fire doused quickly at Tahoe Golf Club Drive
UPDATE: A 30-foot by 50-foot fire was quickly snuffed this afternoon in the Lake Tahoe Golf Club Drive area, said Carson City Fire Chief Stacey Giomi.
Arriving firefighters were able to knock it down quickly before it got into the trees, said Chief Giomi.

Carson City fire crews were called to a new fire in the area of Lake Tahoe Golf Club Drive off of Highway 50, and in the general vicinity of the Clear Creek Fire.
At around 3:50 p.m. firefighters were alerted to the fire, said to be a brush fire and possibly caused by lightning. It was said to be burning west of the golf course and moving up hill. While firefighters are in the area working on the Clear Creek fire the new fire, having two separate fires could pose problems.
