Pedestrian suffers minor injuries in hit and run at Carson City Goodwill, deputies search for silver SUV
Carson City emergency crews and the Carson City Sheriff's Office were dispatched tonight to a crash involving a pedestrian who was struck by a silver SUV in the parking lot of Goodwill on Highway 50 East and then sped away.
The crash was called into dispatch at 5:42 p.m. Arriving emergency personnel informed dispatch the victim is an adult male who suffered minor lacerations from the crash, which was witnessed by others.
Carson City sheriff's deputies are now looking for the vehicle that left the Goodwill store in the 3500 block of Highway 50 East.
Meanwhile, Carson City Fire Department was called to a fire in the front yard of a residence in the 2500 block of Poole Way. Initially called in as a structure fire at around 6 p.m., it was confined to the yard, according to firefighters arriving on scene.
