Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center named 5th 'Most Beautiful Hospital' in U.S.

Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center in Carson City has been recognized by Soliant Health, one of the largest healthcare staffing companies in the country, as the 5th Most Beautiful Hospital in the United States.

The initial hospitals were nominated and then a record setting number of 248,116 votes were tallied to determine the winners.

“Our mission has always been to encompass the human aspect of healing and our open, modern day architecture is designed to lift spirits and enhance the compassionate care of our entire organization,” said Ed Epperson, Carson Tahoe Health President and CEO. “We are honored to be recognized as one of the top hospitals among these other prestigious recipients.”

"We were inspired to create this list by recent data that found 'happy hospitals make happy patients,'" said David Alexander, president of Soliant Health. "As a provider of healthcare professionals for hospitals, we recognize that staff morale and attention to patients' needs are critical to patients' happiness, but the survey also showed that another factor in satisfaction was how the hospital actually looked."
