Holy convergence at Railroad Museum: Nevada restored, Vatican approved
Sunday mornings at the Nevada State Railroad Museum can be very, very special. On this Sunday morning we find three steam locomotives - the narrow gauge Glenbrook unveiled Saturday, circa 1875, the standard gauge Inyo, also circa, 1875, and the standard gauge V&T No. 25, circa 1905 converging at the Diamond and blessed by Father Joe from the Vatican.
As is appropriate for a railroad, the Holy Water is in a galvanized bucket, and the good Father is using an old whisk broom to bless our locomotives, and all who enjoy them.
Father Joe is one of our newest Volunteers, and wears his overalls well.
