Solar Day in Carson City
There will be two events today in Carson City dedicating new solar generation installations.

NV Energy will be presenting a check for $940,000 to the college as part of the company's SolarGenerations program to help offset the cost.
At 1:30 p.m., Carson City Mayor Bob Crowell will help dedicate the new solar installation at the city's wastewater treatment plant on East 5th Street. The city will receive $1.4 million rebate from NV Energy to offset project costs. Carson City will also be receiving a $141,000 rebate for a smaller solar project completed at the city’s Corporate Yard.
