Carson City Ward 3 Supervisor John McKenna provides an update on the April 3 Board of Supervisors meeting.
He discusses amendments to development agreements at the Schulz Ranch development, capital needs expenditures for $190,000 for critical capital needs including new life saving equipment for the Carson City Fire Department.
Also discussed was the forced collection option of delinquent property tax from Empire Ranch Golf Course. He notes that the Board is trying to do what is best for the city in a complex series of circumstances that involve Empire Ranch using allocated treated effluent water. Other issues associated with the golf course deal with property values surrounding the golf course.
