Several inches of new snow dusted South Shore ski resorts last night, with more snow in the forecast early next week. The storms came, stayed and creating a substantial snowpack at area resorts leaving visitors another month to get out on the slopes.
Heavenly Mountain Resort is extending the winter season another week to April 25, 2010. Heavenly’s snowpack is as deep as 100 inches on key trails, setting up the resort for consistent spring skiing and snowboarding conditions through April.
