Carson City firefighters knock down brush fire off of Carson River Road
Carson CIty firefighters were called Monday night to Sierra Vista at Carson River Road for a small brushfire southeast of Carson City.
According to Carson City dispatch the fire was reported to be about 10 feet by 20 feet in size when firefighters arrived, where they quickly knocked it down. All second responding engines called to the fire were canceled, according to dispatch.
Winds are reported light in the area and coming from the southeast. Relative humidity is 32 percent and the temperature for the reported area was 52 as of 9:12 p.m., according to CarsonWeather.com.
The call came into dispatch at 8:54 p.m.
