Carson City man jailed on felony vehicle burglary charges, allegedly smashes car windows

A 19-year-old Carson City man faces three felony counts vehicle burglary after he allegedly smashed the windows of several vehicles in 700 block of Silver Oak Drive Wednesday night.
Carson City Sheriff's Office deputies arrested Jacob Vizenor, who also faces four gross misdemeanor charges of tampering with motor vehicles and three misdemeanor charges, including battery, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. His bail has been set at $88,011.
According to the arrest report, officers were called to the Silver Oak Drive address in reference to a fight. Upon arrival officers observed Vizenor on the ground without shoes and shirt.
Two victims were able to identify Vizenor as the person who had been breaking car windows in the parking lot. A male witness stated the man had also struck his mom in the face with a closed fist and then observed Vizenor in the driver's seat of a white Dodge Intrepid that was parked up the street, according to the arrest report.
Carson City Sheriff's Office Deputy Rivera located three vehicles in the parking lot that had broken driver's side windows. Witnesses told deputies they observed Vizenor in the vehicles. Deputy Rivera notes that items were taken from the vehicles and placed into the other vehicles that had been broken into, the arrest report states.
One of the vehicles appeared to just have damage done to the window and did not appear to have been entered.
Before transporting Vizenor to jail, officers located the white Dodge Intrepid with the driver's side window also broken out and blood along the side of the vehicle. While attempting to locate the registration in the vehicle the officer could smell a strong odor of marijuana.
On the passenger side floor was a small blue bag that was also partially opened. When the officer shined his light on the bag he observed a glass jar with 26 grams of marijuana in it and a small glass pipe, the arrest report states. Vizenor was taken to jail.
