Carson City woman stabbed in arm, suspect remains at large
UPDATE 6:15PM: Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong provided more details into Thursday afternoon's stabbing. The woman who was assaulted and found near Fall and Corbett streets suffered a deep cut to the arm. Her injuries are non-life threatening. The victim reported that she knows the suspect and told investigators he was an ex-boyfriend, said Sheriff Furlong.
The man is described as Hispanic, with a long dark ponytail, 5 foot 8 inches tall, and a build of about 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and black or dark pants.

UPDATED: A woman was reportedly stabbed this afternoon at around 2:15 near Fall Street and Corbet in Carson City. The suspect in the stabbing remains at large and is said to be a Hispanic man wearing a gray sweatshirt and black or dark pants and approximately 5 foot 8 inches tall.
The victim was bleeding and in need of medical attention, according to police scanner dispatch. She was also alert and gave officers the description. Her condition is unknown.
