Carson dispatcher guides mom into reviving baby

The 3-week-old baby is not breathing, his mother keeps screaming that her child is dead, an older child is wailing and a dog keeps barking.
That’s what Carson City sheriff’s dispatch supervisor Cindy Merrell heard in her headphones on her first 911 call of the day Jan. 20.
“My baby’s not breathing,” the caller said amid the noise.
