Wild Horse Children's Theater presents 'Annie, Jr.'
“The sun will come out tomorrow!” Wild Horse Children’s Theater presents the musical Annie, Jr.! Based on the Broadway favorite and well-known comic strip, Annie, Jr. recounts the adventures of a spunky Depression era orphan (Annie) determined to find her parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City orphanage, run by the sinister Miss Hannigan.
Performances of Annie, Jr. will be held December 2 & 9 at 7 pm, December 3 & 10 at 4 pm and 7 pm and December 4 & 11 at 4 pm at the Children’s Museum of Northern Nevada, 813 N. Carson Street. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, befriends President Franklin Roosevelt and finds a new family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy. Its upbeat plot and flamboyant characters have made Annie one of the most beloved musicals in history. Among the many familiar musical numbers are “Hard Knock Life,” “Easy Street,” “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile” and “Tomorrow.”
