'Casa Blanca' Spoof at the Governor’s Mansion Benefits the Carson Tahoe Health Auxiliary

CARSON CITY – Where can you see a mystery dinner show spoofing the movie “Casa Blanca” and the American dream of winning the big jackpot? At the Governor’s mansion Nov. 3 when the Proscenium Players, Inc. present “Dealt a Deadly Hand: Murder at the Carson City Casino Royale.
Sponsored by the Carson Tahoe Health Auxiliary (CTHA), the show is a musical romp where you’ll meet crafty Native Americans, sneaky senior citizens, an Australian “croc chaser,” a two-faced lawyer, a kid with two left feet, a casino owner with a Humphrey Bogart complex and a gold digging ex-wife. Prizes will be awarded for guessing “Who done it!”
The murder mystery dinner is on Saturday, November 3 at 6 p.m. in the Nevada Room at the Governor’s Mansion. Attire is “dressy casual.” The cost is $45 per person and includes dinner, dessert, coffee, tea and an evening of mystery, music and mayhem. Menus are seasonal fresh fruit, assorted fall salads, braised beef tri-tip with mushroom sauce, Tuscan grilled chicken, cheddar mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, assorted breads and sweets. A no-host wine and beer bar will be available.

The Carson Tahoe Health Auxiliary is an all-volunteer, non-profit charitable organization whose purpose is to render assistance through public activities and fund raising in support of the Regional Medical Center, Nursing Scholarships, and other CTHA needs.
