New Outreach Supervisor Joins Greater Nevada
Michelle Hale has been named Greater Nevada Credit Union’s new Member Outreach Supervisor. She will oversee both community relations and member outreach.
Her community relations responsibilities will entail acting as liaison between Greater Nevada and the organizations it supports, including the University of Nevada Marching Band and Wolf Pack Athletics, Special Olympics Nevada, and the Truckee Meadows Habitat for Humanity. She will also coordinate Greater Nevada’s financial literacy efforts through local schools and other groups.
In member outreach, Hale will help ensure that Greater Nevada’s members receive the highest level of service through efforts such as personal follow up on new members and accounts, and gathering feedback on service experiences.
Most recently, Hale worked in Greater Nevada’s new northwest Reno branch, helping with the grand opening event held in early June. Prior to joining Greater Nevada, Hale was the District Executive Director at the American Cancer Society in Reno, where she oversaw staff, volunteers, and fundraising efforts.
Greater Nevada is headquartered in Carson City and has been helping Nevadans with their financial needs since 1949. The credit union serves more than 46,000 consumers and small businesses, and has nearly $500 million in assets. Greater Nevada has also been consistently recognized as both Best Financial Institution in many of its service areas and as a top employer by the Reno/Tahoe Best Places to Work Awards.
