U.S. Bank partners with Junior Achievement to bring day-long program to all students at Jacks Valley Elementary School
WHAT: All students at Jacks Valley Elementary School will participate in “JA in a Day” presented by Junior Achievement of Northern Nevada and U.S. Bank. Students will be taught curriculum based on financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness from U.S. Bank, Douglas County Sherriff’s Department and parent volunteers.
WHEN: Tuesday, May 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
*U.S. Bank will lead a check presentation to Jacks Valley Elementary at 8:30 a.m.*

WHY: JA in a Day is an exceptional Junior Achievement delivery method where an entire grade level program is covered in the course of one day at a participating school. At the end of the school day, students will have completed all five sessions, which normally is taught over a five-week period. This opportunity provides students with valuable learning tools on the topics of financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness.
