About Chris Graham:
I am a very driven individual, who will stop at nothing to reach my dream of being a professional baseball play-by-play broadcaster.
I've been broadcasting since 2005, my senior year in High School. I want to look back on my life and be able to honestly say that I did all I could to make the world around me a better place for everyone. I want to do so much more than just broadcast for my career. I have always told myself that I will give back to my community, the country, and someday the world. Whether it’s something as simple as giving a pair of tickets to the game, or as big as helping rebuild a city from a disaster, I want to help out on all of it. I believe I was put here to help out the world and give back to people. Just seeing a smile on the individual faces is all I need.
You see it on TV shows where some big wig CEO gives someone a $5,000 scholarship for college so that they may chase their dreams and ambitions but I would do better than that. We all know that these CEO’s could give a lot more. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great that they do. I would, however, ask the person: “How much would it take to get the degree in what you want to do?” and I would simply write the check. It’s not about money for me and me only. I really feel I am here to help other people achieve success or get them back on their feet.
I envision myself being apart of, or be the one to create projects that help the ones in need around the country. I will not, however, lose sight of my hometown. Carson City, and the entire northern region of Nevada is such a great place to live, and there are a lot of things that I think we could create to make it an even better place to live, and I hope one day to be able to do that.
This career choice for me is not all about broadcasting, it’s as much of a reward to do things off the field as it is to be behind the mic bringing the game into your homes, and that’s what I intend to do. I promise you that. I will change the game of broadcasting.
