Interpretive Hike at Carson Pass, Old Man and the Mountain

A meander over a couple of miles, pausing to appreciate the many hidden treasures of the forest. All participants will leave with knowledge of the forest! This event is 1-2 hours to Frog Lake. Carson City fireworks show back on; rescheduled for this Saturday night at Mills Park

The 2022 Carson City Independence Day fireworks show hosted by RSVP, also known as Nevada Rural Counties Retired & Senior Volunteer Program, is happening Monday evening in Mills Park, with fireworks to begin around 9:30 p.m. Those watching are encouraged to tune into radio station Wild 102.9 FM for synchronized music accompanying the display.
