Wild Horse Children's Theater presents 'Disney's Aladdin, Jr.'
Wild Horse Children's Theater is getting ready to transport audiences on a magical journey to “A Whole New World” as our spring production of Disney's Aladdin, Jr. takes to the stage at the Children's Museum of Northern Nevada in Carson City May 7-22.
Take flight on a magic carpet ride filled with magic and mayhem featuring all the well-known songs from the Academy award-winning film including “A Whole New World,” “Friend Like Me,” and “Prince Ali.” All of your favorite characters are here in this stage adaptation of the Disney hit, with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, including Aladdin, Jasmine, and of course, the Genie. Combined with all of this is the scheming villain, Jafar, along with his wise-cracking side-kick, Iago the parrot.
Audiences of all ages will enjoy this classic story that all children (and adults) know and love. Director, Carol Scott says, “The classic story elements are there, but we add magic and surprises here and there to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.”
