"There are many good firemen out there, and we hope to beat them," Trotter said. "It's good because it's not our profession, it's our hobby. We are here for the love of the sport, and you will see some fighting today for the win."
Harvey from the Fire Department in Minden won the friendly match last night.
Carson City BMX Race for Life rescheduled, happening this Sunday

The tournament is a fundraiser for Carson High School’s Boys and Girls Tennis Teams whose season starts in August.

Once a local Sierra endurance race, the TRTER has grown into one of the elite ultra distance races in the country while continuing to be a fully volunteer run operation that makes substantial donations to local organizations.

Twenty-five members competed in the two-day, net tournament. Amber Graham won the tournament with a net score of 141. Dede Nieto was the runner-up, with a score of 143.

This annual event provides a portion of the funds raised to the high school bands throughout the state to assist with their travel to the Nevada Day Parade in October, while the remainder of the funds supports the Nevada Day Parade.
