Formerly known as the Conservation and Resource Bond Program approved by Nevada voters in 2002 (or “Q1”), the new and expanded program will be known as “Conserve Nevada.”

Aquatic invasive species, including the plants plaguing the Keys, are the most pressing ecological threat to Lake Tahoe’s health and beauty.

Up on top of the sierras I have had reports of 150 to 180 inches, while down at the higher lakes such as Caples Lake they received 90 inches at the resort.

According to Carson City Parks and Recreation Open Space Manager Lydnsey Boyer, the first grant received was in the amount of $2.4 million for the Prison Hill West trail.
