Grocery Outlet in Dayton Joins July Independence from Hunger Campaign

The month-long campaign will collect cash donations and pre-made bags of nonperishable foods in-store at more than 400 U.S. locations to be distributed to local food agencies partners.
Carson City Regional Wellness Center In-Patient facility to open this summer, open house Friday

An open house for the facility is scheduled for this Friday, with a ribbon cutting at 1 p.m. A donuts and coffee food truck will be on scene, and the community is invited to attend.

The beds, valued at $15,000 each, will be used to treat students in the Health Office at Carson High School.

This was the first sign of liver failure, which progressed rapidly. Driven by his sense of responsibility to his family and his son, he continued to work even as his skin began to yellow and his body held excess fluid.
Reyes was placed on the transplant waiting list less than a month after his first symptom — at 47 years old, he needed a life-saving liver transplant.

Medicaid recipients will now need to have their eligibility redetermined to see if they still qualify for Medicaid coverage.
