Rice Hydro Inc., located in Carson City, Nevada, is proud to announce the launch of a new product in its Hydrostatic Test Pump Series. Dubbed the Pipeline Chlorinator, the innovative unit is a patent pending pump capable of chlorinating water in parts per million (PPM) in addition to pressure testing new or existing water lines. The unit will support water jurisdictions in their efforts to monitor line viability and water quality, as it relates to chlorination with costly PPM requirements.

The Carson City Board of Supervisors is seeking applications from individuals who may be interested in serving on the Carson City Cultural Commission and the Regional Transportation Commission.

This week Carson High School is pleased to present Ash Fajayan as its Senior in the Spotlight! Ash Fajayan has excelled throughout all 4 years at Carson High School and is an amazing representation of what it means to be a Senator.

The featured speakers at Monday's Democratic luncheon will be Chris Martinovich, PE, Transportation Manager at Carson City Public Works.

There are a lot of Nevada Day activities at the Carson Mall this year and so Carson Mall management is asking the public be respectful and safe when driving through the Carson Mall parking lot and parking area.

Twenty employers seeking applicants for current vacant positions will be at the Carson City Senior Center, 911 Beverly Drive, on Tuesday, November 1 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30pm. This event is open to the public of all ages and hosted by the Carson City Health and Human Services. Lunch is served for individuals 60 and over.

Honoring all who have served, join us for a presentation of the colors by the Carson HS ROTC and lunch as we celebrate our senior Veterans on Thursday, November 10, event starts at 11am and lunch is served from 11:15-12:30pm at the Carson City Senior Center at 911 Beverly Drive. Special lunch includes ribs, corn, baked beans, coleslaw and dessert, a suggested donation of $2.25 for individuals 60 and over, $6.00 required charge for individuals 59 and under. Please arrive early and be seated prior to 11am.

Carson High School Safe Grad has organized the first annual Best Ball Golf Tournament scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Eagle Valley Golf Course in Carson City.

Nevada’s five legal aid organizations providing legal help to Nevadans who cannot afford an attorney, along with the Access to Justice Commission, a Nevada Supreme Court-created group promoting equal civil justice, announced a statewide campaign to recruit Silver State lawyers to help Nevadans with critical legal matters.

Worried about the impact substance abuse is having on local young people? If so plan to attend the next Rotary Club of Carson City meeting. Partnership Douglas County Executive Director Daria Winslow will be the guest speaker.
