At least two injured in Carson City hit and run near College Parkway; two CareFlight helicopters called

UPDATE 11:55PM: Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong said road rage is thought to be behind an incident Saturday night on Cinnabar near College Parkway that sent at least two to the hospital via CareFlight.
Two of those injured, include a woman who was hit by a vehicle in her driveway after being followed by a male driver. The woman, believed to be 19-years-old but not confirmed yet, was said to have "very severe" injuries. The other driver, a man, was said to have "severe" injuries. Both were flown to Renown Medical Center in Reno. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

Apparently the incident began before 9:30 p.m. off of Lompa and Highway 50 and involved a male driver following a female driver after some kind of altercation. Furlong said. It is unknown if the two knew each other, Furlong said, and investigators are trying to determine what relationship the two had, if any.
"Right now we are looking at it as being some sort of road rage incident," said Furlong.
The male driver apparently followed the female driver from Lompa and Highway 50, crossed the freeway and then followed her to her home where he struck her in the driveway, said Furlong. The man was injured after leaving the scene and crashing his vehicle.
"We really don't know why this happened," said Furlong.

UPDATE 10:19PM: At least two people were hit by a vehicle in the area of College Parkway and Cinnabar in Carson City at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday night. Two Care Flight helicopters transported two patients. One of those injured is said to be a man and a 19-year-old woman. One was reportedly pinned between a fence or a house.
