Position Purpose:

Under the general guidance of the Senior Human Resources Business Partner the incumbent acts as an internal consultant, to the Accountable Group leader to ensure that their strategic, tactical and operational human resources objectives are achieved.

Nature and Scope:

The Human Resources Business Partner coordinates and supports the Accountable Group Leader in the development and implementation of a human resources business plan, including but not limited to, strategies, tactics and objectives. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of strategic initiatives, planning and analysis, internal communication and change management. Working as a partner with the Accountable Group leader, the incumbent will deliver/coordinate functional human resources support in the areas of recruiting, staffing, compensation, benefits, employee relations, labor relations and training. This position will participate as a member of the Accountable Group Leader's staff and provide proactive human resources support and counsel to the management team.

The Human Resources Business Partner may be assigned a service territory.

Minimum Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred

Education:

Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field or equivalent human resources leadership experience required.

Experience:

Minimum five years experience in the human resources field in a professional level position required. This generalist experience must include compensation, benefits, employee relations, recruitment experience required. Experience with labor relations preferred.

Certification(s):

Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.

Computer / Typing:

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook,PowerPoint, Excel and Word andhave the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
