Joycie "Jodi" Eileen Liebhard

Event Date:
July 7, 2023 (All day)

Joycie “Jodi” Kelley Liebhard went to her permanent home in Heaven June 25, 2023 at the age of 78. Jodi was born October 11, 1944 in McAlester, OK, to Lealand and Clema Lee Kelley, who preceded her in death along with her beloved sister Lawanda Rapp.

As a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, Family and Faith meant everything to her. Jodi is survived by her dearly loved husband Gary Wayne Liebhard, brother Samuel Shaw, children Dwight Millard, Kelley Radow, Michael Millard, Shannon Millard, Brandon Liebhard, Lori Estrada and Julie Liebhard, 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Jodi moved with her parents from Oklahoma to Nevada at the age of 2, where she lived and went to school in Hawthorne before graduating from Douglas High School.

She built her life and career in Carson City as the successful Owner/Broker of Heritage West/Red Carpet Realty. She sat on many boards and held many memberships, contributing to the professional development of Carson City, and was active in the community, being a pioneer member of MADD and managing many youth sports groups.
Jodi retired in 1995 and loved spending her time in Cabo San Lucas, Shasta Lake, and the Oregon Coast with her husband, Gary. She spent time with her Cocker Spaniels, watching her Dallas Cowboys play ball, and listening to Jimmy Swaggert and Elvis Presley.

No words can express our grief and she will be sadly missed until we see her again.
Please join our family for a viewing at FitzHenry’s Funeral Home in Carson City on Thursday, July 6th, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm.
